we are 30 days out from the re-union.
If you want to eat dinner... I will need a confirmation
(head-count) and payment no later than Feb 6.
I need this for ordering dinner at the Marine
Corps League... if you don't pay you wont have
a dinner. If you want to skip the dinner you
can show up later for muster also.
Dinner including the rental at the Marine Corps
is $25.00.
Drinks and bail from jail are your responsibility.
If you haven't made your hotel reservations...
do so soon! Knauls has bought us some time at
the Imperial Palace.. we have until Feb 9 to
book your room.

He has no cell phone, answering machine or computer

don't want to re-cycle old stories but the supererior
intellect of the Marine Corps and Navy was in
full effect setting up Lima Co. in San Miguel
during the monsoons season in PI.
We weren't allowed to use the empty barracks
but was forced to use the football field as
our billet... sure we had tents but after a
nights intense downpour... it's bad when your
cot has to be perched 3 pallets high from the
deck or your ass is hanging in the water...
can you say Okefenokee Swamp! Anything that
wasn't tied up to a tent pole was sacrificed
to the swamp monster and never seen again.
Remember the San Miguel chow the first day?
It was great... nice tables w/tablecloths and
cushioned bamboo chairs... we're thinking this
is the shit... the next day after we totally
drenched the place from our swamp funk and turning
everything into pond scum... they quickly removed
all comforts from the chow hall... tableclothes,
cushions and anything breakable... how is us...
being in the field during monsson season...
when a perfectly good barracks sat empty???

Ziegler (formerly SSgt Ziegler of Kilo 3/7,

Company 3/7 Warriors. After we got back to the
stumps, I had orders in-hand for a Lat move
to military corrections, which treated me pretty
good, but it started it out kind of rocky when
one of my first assignments were to stand watch
over a few Marines that I had just returned
from that long ass deployment; Colby, Stephens,
and Gonzales for beating Lotts' ass in P.I.

on Kilo's perimeter with Capt. Morris, checking
the defensive positions when suddenly a flourescent
frisbie comes out of a fighting hole and is
whipped perfectly to another fighting hole,
where a hand comes out and snags the bright
flying object. The look on the C.O.'s face was
PRICELESS... he was pissed! :) |

Need
some help from all you Devil Dogs, to help find
some lost brothers from 2/7. I think it's kool
we all are having a re-union, unfortunately
I can't go due to work demands. I've already
talked to a few Devil Dogs from 2/7, it seems
that most of 2/7 fell off the earth adn disappeared.
I know a few devil dogs and myself went to 3/7
in late 91, early 92. We were all salty at the
time, I went to Lima 3/7, thought maybe some
of the 3/7 devil dogs might know a few ex 2/7's
and help find some of them. It would be greatly
